Building on Lines

Outlines, edges, eyeliner. Line can start a new identity.

Lines define and interrupt each other.

Their lines are mine.

These works aren’t quite ready for names yet. Some might never have names. They need to expand in space. They have started to get dressed, trying on jewellery and building themselves. They will be fleshed out with exaggerated materiality. They will become smothered in stage-make-up. They will start to loose themselves. Some might only turn a tad more boisterous, a little more saturated. Juicy blood and crumbling bulk is needed, like the final ingredients in a soup. Each soup feeds the next soup. It is all one soup.
